Augustus H. Billy Sterne Endowed Graduate Scholarship

Established in the 1980s by Mr. Sterne, who retired from his position as CEO of Trust Company Bank and took the position of “Acting Dean of the School of Business” at Atlanta University. He was instrumental in raising a considerable amount of money to enlarge Wright Hall and provide additional funding to the School of Business. He passed away in 1986. Leaders of the 1998 Atlanta business community were asked to contribute to this scholarship in his memory.
