Beatrice J. Gilliam Ednowed Scholarship

Established in 2002 by William J. Gilliam and Wilma J. Grayson (who are the son and daughter of Mrs. Beatrice J. Gilliam) as a tribute to their mother’s commitment to aiding the development of outstanding students at Clark College and Clark Atlanta University.
Mrs. Gilliam retired from Clark Atlanta University in 1993 after 30 years of exceptional service as a Resident Dormitory Director. She was instrumental in guiding and inspiring many of the students who resided in “her dormitory.” She was respected and admired by faculty, staff, students, and parents with who she had contact.
