Casper L. Jordan Graduate Scholarship

Casper L. Jordan graduated from Atlanta University in 1951, and returned to the University in 1968 as a member of the School of Library Service faculty until 1974 when he became Director of the Trevor Arnett Library. In 1982 he became Deputy Director of the Fulton County Library and remained there until his retirement in 1987. In 1994 Dr. and Mrs. Linneaus D. Dorman established the Casper L. Jordan Scholarship in the School of Library and Information Studies. Dr. Dorman worked for Dow Chemical Company who provided some matching funds for the scholarship.
