Dr. Om. P. Puri Endowed Book Fund

This scholarship was established in 2003 by past students of Dr. Puri. His teaching skills and interest in his students were so appreciated by them that they grouped together to establish this fund. Dr. Puri was born in North India in 1935, received his Doctorate from Saugar University and his post doctorate from Notre Dame University in South Bend, Indiana.

In 1961 he joined Clark College where he established the Department of Physics, was active in fund raising, served on many committees and assisted in the consolidation of Atlanta University in 1988. Dr. Puri is the Garfield/Mercer Honorary Professor of Science.
