James Patterson Teacher Education Scholarship

The Patterson Family Foundation has established the James Patterson Teacher Education Scholarship for First Year full-time undergraduate Freshman and/or First Year Graduate students with an expressed interest in pursuing a career as a writer or a teacher of writing. This scholarship cover Tuition and Fees Only Applicants must have completed the FAFSA and demonstrate a Financial Need.

Awardees will be required to submit a 3-4 page report at the end of the 2024-25 Academic year to the donor, explaining “Ways in which he/she can apply in his/her future teaching career what he/she has learned in the classroom during the academic year”
