PUMA North America, Inc (School of Business)

Awarded to students in the School of Business (marketing, finance, data analytics, and supply chain). Recipients should possess a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and must sign a commitment letter to participate in select PUMA engagements and commitments.

Eligible students seeking to apply for scholarship funds must submit a response to the following essay questions:
a. Why do HBCUs matter?
b. Describe a time when you’ve overcome a challenge or barrier to success.
c. Why should you be chosen as a PUMA scholar?

Recipients must sign a letter committing to participate in select PUMA engagements, commitments, and events, including but not limited to:

1. Sustained and regular interaction with DONOR-assigned mentors;

2. Virtual or in -person participation in annual site visits

3. Act as PUMA on-campus ambassadors, aiding in reaching other interested students, faculty and administrators.

4. Participating in summer internships or related work arrangement (NOTE: Such participation is NOT required, but strongly encouraged. Any student seeking an interview will be granted one).

Student scholars and other identified students in the School of Business will be chosen to lead several consumer research projects for marketing research experience and exposure
