TIAA First-Generation Scholarship Program

Up to $10,000 to a first-generation student enrolled in undergraduate study.  With the support of TIAA, Scholarship America is awarding up to $10,000 to first-generation students enrolled in undergraduate study. Applicants must be first-generation students, defined as neither parent/guardian having previously received a 4-year university degree. 

• Be first-generation* students – For the purpose of this scholarship program, “first-generation” is defined as neither parent/guardian of the student having previously received a 4-year college/university degree
• Be current college undergraduates only
• Plan to continue in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university for the entire upcoming academic year
