Whitney Avon Young Fnd

This scholarship was established in 1973 by a gift from Avon Products, Inc. to honor Mr. Young. Mr. Young was Dean of the School of Social Work at Atlanta University from 1954 to 1960 and Executive Director of the National Urban League until his death in 1971. Applicants must have a documented financial need and a minimum 3.0 GPA within the School of Social Work.
