The Williams-Franklin Foundation ®
Founded in 2014, the Williams-Franklin Foundation is dedicated to addressing the financial challenges that often hinder Historically Black College and University (HBCU) students from achieving their academic and professional goals. Our mission is to provide scholarships, mentoring, and networking opportunities to talented students with financial need—empowering them to excel as leaders, innovators, and change-makers in their communities.
APPLICATION SEASON: March 1 – April 15, 2026
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
• U.S. citizenship
• Demonstrated financial need
• Currently enrolled at an undergraduate HBCU (24+ credits)
• GPA of 2.7 or higher
AVERAGE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD AMOUNTS: $5,000 – $6,000 – Scholarship awards are renewable each academic year
